Hi, I'm John. I've run the help desk and now the whole IT team at Orba Systems, a small managed-services shop. I was born on March 5, 1987 in Ames, grew up chasing computers apart, and never really stopped. These days I live in Cary with my dog Rex, who supervises every late-night maintenance window from the corner of my desk.
When I'm not on call, you'll find me yelling at the TV on game day — I've bled green for the Jets since I was a kid, for better and (mostly) for worse. I keep my usernames short and my coffee strong. People ask why an IT manager still logs in as just "john"; old habits.
